6.1-LITER SRT HEMI® V8 ENGINE
It takes a well-designed high performance engine to churn
out 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. And that engine is
Chrysler LLC's 6.1-liter SRT HEMI® V8. Aside from unbelievable
power, the engine boasts excellent reliability, a smooth idle
and an exhaust note that conjures checkered flag images. Standard
on Magnum SRT8.
5.7-LITER
HEMI® MULTIPLE-DISPLACEMENT V8 ENGINE
Magnum R/T's athletic 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine is equipped
with a Multi-Displacement System (MDS) that switches from eight
cylinders to four during highway cruising and light acceleration,
supplying plenty of power and excellent fuel economy. This powerhouse
delivers best-in-class 350 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque.
Standard on Magnum R/T and R/T with Road/Track Performance PKG.
3.5-LITER
HIGH-OUTPUT V6 ENGINE
The 3.5-liter high-output V6 engine commands respect serving up
an impressive 250 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. It's dual-tuned
intake manifold provides high power and torque at any speed. Advanced
platinum-tip spark plugs allow for 100,000-mile tune-up intervals.
Standard on Magnum SXT.
2.7-LITER
V6 ENGINE
Delivering a substantial 178 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque,
this V6 provides a stellar combination of performance, fuel economy,
low exhaust emissions, quiet operation and durability. Standard
on Magnum SE.
